You can paypal your dues to sandeep.gopisetty@gmail.com Annual Summer Membership: $150 + Game Day expenses($200) = $350 Stanford A Cricket Club offers an annual playing membership. This membership allows you to participate in all the games that Stanford A cricket club participates in the local cricket leagues. You are also eligible to participate in various club social games and weekly practices. The annual membership is $150. Stanford A also collects $20/game upfront to cover game day expenses such as Lunch charges, umpiring fees, Drinks, balls etc. We have noticed that most members play about 10 games per season and hence we collect $200 in game day expenses. This way you do not have to pay a dime on the match day. Tier 2 Annual Summer Membership: $90 + Game Day expenses($160) = $250 Stanford A Cricket Club offers a Tier 2 membership for members joining the club who anticipate playing lesser games than 8. This membership allows you to participate in all the games that Stanford A cricket club participates in the local cricket leagues. You are also eligible to participate in various club social games and weekly practices. The membership fees is $90. Stanford A also collects $20/game upfront to cover game day expenses such as Lunch charges, umpiring fees, Drinks, balls etc. We have noticed that most members who join this tier play about 8 games per season and hence we collect $160 in game day expenses. This way you do not have to pay a dime on the match day. Flat Fee Structure (NEWLY introduced for 2011 summer season)
In this structure, member has to pay $150 upfront as club membership fee. On game day, Stanford A will collect $20 to cover game day expenses such as Lunch charges, umpiring fees, Drinks, balls etc. This fee structure is more like pay-as-when-you-play.
Note that there is no umpiring deposit in this structure. Social Membership: $100 Stanford A Cricket Club offers an Social membership for a nominal charge of $100. This membership allows you to participate in all the social games held at Stanford A cricket club and weekly practices. Since we cannot predict the game day expenses on social games we do not charge these to social members. Student Membership: Free + Potential Earnings Stanford A Cricket Club strongly believes in encouraging youth cricketers and hence offers Free membership to full time Students who financially support themselves in the US. There are no game day expenses charged to full time students. In lieu we expect student members to contribute and volunteer in various club activities. Umpiring Deposit: In addition, Stanford A Cricket Club collects $100 from each playing member as an umpiring deposit. We also pay every umpire $100 per umpiring assignment. So, members (including students) who volunteer for umpiring assignments earn $100 in addition to the various stipulated umpiring fees by the leagues we participate in. |
